It's that time of year again and the Atlantic hurricane season has officially begun. NOAA’s 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook calls for an 85% chance of an above normal season. Global weather patterns are imposing a greater uncertainty in the 2010 hurricane season outlook than in recent years. The conditions expected this year have historically produced some very active Atlantic hurricane seasons. The 2010 hurricane season could see activity comparable to a number of extremely active seasons since 1995. If the 2010 activity reaches the upper end of the NOAA's predicted ranges, it will be one of the most active seasons on record. As with any season, the need to prepare for the possibility of a storm striking is essential. With that in mind, we are working hard to make sure that we are prepared to work a storm if and when one should occur.
The challenges we face in the field of catastrophic insurance adjusting are immense and as a result limit opportunity to a narrow group of trained individuals. While many new adjusters are licensed each year, few possess the patience and organization to remain successful. Our goal is to provide both the adjusters and insured's with quality claim handling services from start to finish. We must never forget that quality adjusting starts with great customer service.
As with any great team, our success depends on each other. No longer is it necessary to use your truck as a mobile office tracking hundred's of claims out of a briefcase. We handle your paperwork so you can focus on setting appointments and turning in quality field loss worksheets. Our Field Loss Worksheets (FLW) have been developed over multiple storm seasons with the input from many different adjusters working in the field and are vital to the team having a successful year. We believe that our system allows our adjusters the ability to cover more claims, provide better customer service and more accurately track each claim's status resulting in a simplified process.
